These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of GiveMeAJob, the resume-building and interview-assistance service operated by JOSHUA TREE SOFTWARE LLC, a Missouri limited liability company (“we”, “us”, or “our”), available at givemeajob.ai (the “Service”). By creating an account, using the Service, or clicking a button indicating acceptance, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
GiveMeAJob helps you build, edit, tailor, and export resumes and related documents, and provides an AI-assisted interview copilot. The Service uses artificial intelligence, including third-party AI providers (see our Privacy Policy), to generate, rewrite, and format content you provide.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it current. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. Access during a closed beta or similar period may additionally be limited to an approved list of email addresses.

You are solely responsible for the content you submit to the Service and for the accuracy of the resumes and documents you create with it.
Features such as resume generation, tailoring, import parsing, document drafting, and the interview copilot rely on third-party artificial intelligence models. AI output may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies, and may not reflect facts about you unless you supply them. You are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated content before using it, and for ensuring every claim in your resumes and documents is truthful and accurate. We do not guarantee that use of the Service will result in employment, interviews, or any particular outcome.
The Interview Copilot captures audio from your system and (with your permission) your microphone, transcribes spoken content, may capture screenshots at your direction, and generates suggested answers. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of the Interview Copilot complies with all applicable laws, including wiretapping, eavesdropping, and recording-consent laws in your and the other participants’ jurisdictions. Do not use the Interview Copilot in any interview, conversation, or setting where such capture, transcription, or assistance is prohibited, or where you have not obtained any required consent. We disclaim all liability for your failure to comply with such laws.
Certain features consume credits. The Service offers monthly subscription plans (currently Lite at $19/month, Pro at $39/month, and Max at $99/month, each including a monthly credit allowance) and one-time prepaid credit packs. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until canceled. You may cancel at any time through your account or the payment provider’s customer portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide refunds or credits for partial billing periods. Prepaid credits are consumed at the time of use and are non-refundable, except where required by law or where we grant an exception at our sole discretion. Prices are subject to change with reasonable prior notice; changes take effect at your next billing period. Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider (see our Privacy Policy); we do not store your payment card details.
The Service may offer anonymous guest sessions with limited, temporary functionality. Guest drafts and associated data are stored temporarily and automatically expire (currently approximately 30 days after creation, with a short claim grace period). We may modify, suspend, or end guest sessions and their data retention at any time.
The Service relies on third-party providers, including AI providers, email delivery, payment processing, and bot-protection services, as described in our Privacy Policy. Your use of content processed by those providers is additionally subject to their respective terms. We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of third-party providers.
You retain ownership of the content you submit to the Service. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process that content solely to provide the Service to you. The Service itself, including its design, code, templates, and branding, is owned by JOSHUA TREE SOFTWARE LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute the Service except as expressly permitted.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, that AI-generated content will be accurate or complete, or that defects will be corrected.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JOSHUA TREE SOFTWARE LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM (OR ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS IF YOU HAVE NOT PAID US). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless JOSHUA TREE SOFTWARE LLC from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms, create risk or possible legal exposure for us, or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, the provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive will survive.
We may modify these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date above and may provide additional notice (for example, by email or through the Service) for material changes. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, United States of America, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You and we submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Missouri for any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service.
